Over the past 30 years in the US, Black women have faced pregnancy-related mortality rates three to five times higher than those of white women, revealing systemic issues. Explore the experiences of pregnant Black women, their families, and advocates as they navigate and strive to address deficiencies in the healthcare system. A reframing of the victim-blaming discourse empowers individuals to effect change in maternal healthcare, one birth at a time.
