Before entering academe, Abby spent 20 years in the international academic publishing industry as editor, reviewer, and publisher. She is Executive Editor for the Association for the Sociology of Religion, Trustee responsible for publishing in the Sociological Review Foundation, and a member of the Economic and Social Research Council Peer Review College and of several journal review boards.
