More Details
- Summary:
- A report on Anne Frank's discovery by Nazis. Until recently it remained a mystery as to how the Frank family's secret dwelling was discovered during the Holocaust, but a new investigation has uncovered previously unknown information that points to a prime suspect: Arnold van den Bergh, a prominent Jewish businessman, who was put in an untenable position by the Nazis to save himself and his family. Includes interviews with Vince Pankoke, former FBI agent; Thijs Bayens, a Dutch filmmaker; Dr. Gertjan Broek, a historian at the Anne Frank house; Peter Van Twisk, a Dutch journalist who led the research team for this project; Bram Van Der Meer, an investigative psychologist for the national police force in the Netherlands; and Menachem Sebbag, an orthodox rabbi in Amsterdam and Chief Jewish Chaplain in the Dutch Army.
