This series presents music of Portugal's Royal Trumpet and Kettledrum Corps which survive in a manuscript set of part books held in the Museu Nacional dos Cohces in Lisbon.
This volume contains a single work, the only work in the collection scored for 24 trumpets and 4 timpani.
All the music in this series is anonymous and composed in approximately 1755.
