Commissioned by the Kansas City Symphony, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Oregon Symphony, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Aspen Music Festival, and The Knights, with additional support from Linda and Stuart Nelson.
Premiered in Kansas City, MO, September 2021.
The second movement inspired by Alban Berg's Piano sonata.
