Summary:

"Formed by Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths in 1994 in London, the trip-hop, progressive rock and electronic music band Archive will soon celebrate 25 years of activity. Despite having a dozen albums to its credit, the collective hasn't lost any of its freshness. This is evidenced in this 2017 concert at the Festival Les Déferlantes in the South of France where the group opens the set on the eponymous title of their latest album, The False Foundation (2016). They perform on a misty stage that is tinged with red and black which, after a slow build up, is filled with sparkling lights. For this new album, they unveil diverse tracks, mixing pop-rock, trance, ambient and industrial electro. Syncopated rhythms, softness, darkness, choral chorus, this performance is a whirlwind of emotions. With founders Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths on keyboards, Dave Penney and Pollard Berrier on vocals and guitar, Mickey Hurcombe on guitar, Jonathan Noyce on bass and Stephen Barnard on drums, the capacity crowd is testament to their success. **Anaïs Christidis Guillemard**".
