Summary:

Jacquot de Nantes: The film recreates the early life of Varda's husband, Jacques Demy, in Occupied France and shows his interest in the various crafts associated with film making, such as casting, set design, animation and lighting. The fictional sections set in wartime Nantes are matched with brief documentary interludes involving the dying Demy.
The young girls turn 25: about the making of the film Les demoiselles de Rochefort (Young girls of Rochefort). Filmmaker Agnès Varda returns to the town of Rochefort for the film's 25th anniversary.
The world of Jacques Demy: about the life and career of Agnès Varda's husband, director Jacques Demy, and includes archival interviews with Demy as well as interviews with composer Michel Legrand and actors Catherine Deneuve, Michel Piccoli, Dominique Sanda, Jeanne Moreau, and Anouk Aimée.
