Summary:

The eighth hearing of the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol presents evidence as to what transpired in the White House as the attack on the Capitol unfolded and during the days following the attack. Includes video testimony from former White House Counsel Pat Cipollone as well as other White House staff members and in-person testimony from former Deputy National Security Advisor Matthew Pottinger and former Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Matthews, all of whom described to the Committee efforts by the White House staff to persuade former President Trump to send the rioters a message to stand down.
