Summary:

"Picture Conrad Hilton glowing with pride over his new luxury hotel in Havana only to have it taken over soon after opening by Fidel Castro to use as his revolution's headquarters. The Havana Hilton went from being a capitalistic monument to become the main headquarters of Cuban communism. The takeover was one of the strongest symbols of the changes that came to dominate the dramatic developments in Cuba, and its relationship with the U.S. Using unique historical archive footage, interviews with people who were there, and exuberant music of the 50s and 60s, the film captures an era in a way that history books can not."--Original container.
