Summary:

Dancer-choreographer David Parsons, a native of Kansas City, Mo., discusses his dance and athletic training there, and his move to New York City, where he joined the Paul Taylor Dance Company. He talks about different aspects of his experience as a choreographer, and the logistics of running his own dance company. He discusses his works Step into my dream, danced to live music by the Billy Taylor Trio; and Caught, which helped establish him as a choreographer when it was taken into the repertory of Eliot Feld's company.
