Summary:

Love affair: Two people, each engaged to marry someone else, meet aboard a ship and fall in love. They agree to meet at the Empire State building in six months if they still feel the same way.
In A star is born: A fading star meets and marries an aspiring actress. Her career continues to skyrocket while his continues to fade with tragic results.
