This is the shorter version of The Clergyman's almanack for 1820 (Shaw & Shoemaker 47642), which was advertised in the Independent chronicle (Boston) for Oct. 9, 1819. Advertisements for the Clergyman's almanack for most other years specify a larger and a smaller size at $9.00 and $4.50 a gross respectively. The latter price appears at the foot of the present title page. The Clergyman's minor almanack was never advertised separately. It was initiated with the 1811 issue as an alternative to the larger version, as indicated by the editor in his prefaces for that and the following year.
