Summary:

The film chronicles five years in the life of contemporary choreographer Li Ning. It shows his struggles with his wife, son, and mother. While he works with his enthusiastic but unstable dance troupe comprised of college students, his wife and mother regularly berate him over his artistic indulgences and lack of income.
