- Collection of miniature volumes of poetry, essays, novels, stories, etc., all but 4 volumes housed in original oak case with sliding glass door.
Jones published a Diamond Poets series and a Diamond Classics series. This and most known sets combine the two series and are commonly called "Jones Diamond Classics"
Some volumes with note: "Thomas Harrild, Printer, Silver Street, Falcon Square."
Libraries' set of 44 volumes in case contains duplicate volumes of: Gray and Collins, Grahame and Logan, and Lyttleton and Hammond.
Three titles (Gulliver's Travels (2v.), Bacon's Essays, and Sorrows of Werther) acquired separately from main set.

Volumes bound in publisher's embossed and textured blue cloth with blind-stamped rules and gilt urn device on front covers, same design on back covers without gilt, and ornately gilt spines with foliate forms and titles. The main set of 44 volumes is housed in period (publisher's?) wooden bookshelf having 2 shelves and sliding wood-framed glass panel.
