Summary:

The people of South and Central America and the Caribbean reflect on their lives, their history and societies in this series. This intimate look at contemporary Latin America examines issues confronting the entire region by focusing on individual communities. Episode 9 looks at revolutionary movements in the region today, with emphasis on the former guerillas in El Salvador and the current movement in Peru. The program also examines three revolutions of this century- in Mexico, Cuba, and Nicaragua.
