Summary:
- Interview with Hilda Rubinstein Green, a Holocaust survivor, concerning her experiences during the Holocaust. Green discusses her childhood in Memel, Lithuania, her education, the Nazi occupation of Memel (1939), moving to Kovno, Lithuania (1939), Russian occupation (1940), German occupation and life in the Kovno Ghetto (1941-1943), transfer to Stutthof concentration camp (1943), the death of her mother and sister (1945), liberation by Russian troops, emigration to the United States (1947), the reunion with her brother in Israel, and the lasting effect of the Holocaust.
