Summary:
- Interview with Herbert Fish, an executive at Caltex Petroleum Corporation, discussing his educational background, the U.S. Army during World War II, his employment with Shell, the Area Petroleum Office, his employment with Caltex, his China experience, his time in Japan (1949-1955), Nippon Oil Company and Koa Oil Company, his re-assignment as supervisor for the West Mediterranean Area in 1955, his promotion to regional director of the Inner Europe Division, and refinery expansion. He also talks about his French experience, Socal's and Texaco's assumption of European operations from Caltex in 1967, and he comments on Phil LeFevre, Shun Nomura, José Alvarez, and Henri Bellande.
