- What surgeons thought to be a tumor growing on the neck of patient Karen Tandy is actually a fetus growing at an abnormally accelerated rate. Eventually the fetus is discovered to be the reincarnation of an ancient demon. Karen's former lover and phony psychic Harry Erskine, an Indian shaman, and the hospital staff must work together the destroy the creature after it is reborn.
