Full-color facsimile of an Aztec picture manuscript reproduced on 48 leaves, each 15 x 29 cm., mounted back to back and joined with book cloth at seams to form a continuous strip folded accordion fashion and attached to paper-covered boards, with text v.; issued in a case measuring 26 cm.
Title and imprint from text v.
The original, painted on deer skin, also on both sides, and attached to wooden boards, resides in the Vatican Library. A religious codex dealing with auguries, Codex 3773 appears to define various periods of the calendar.
