Acquired as part of a collection of 83 miniature books formed by Vytautas Ramutis, consisting primarily of works in Russian, Hungarian, Ukranian, Lithuanian, and other eastern European languages. The majority of the collection was housed in a wooden cabinet, also acquired by the Libraries. Not housed in the cabinet was a single 5-volume set of the Gospels and Revelations with illustrations by Gustave Doré, which is housed in a custom-fitted slipcase shaped to resemble a Russian Orthodox church.
