Summary:

A small Mississippi town is rocked by scandal when Babe, the youngest of three eccentric sisters, shoots her husband. This incident draws her sister Meg, an unsuccessful lounge singer, back to the family home, where Babe has taken refuge with their spinster sister, Lenny. The sisters unite to save Babe from a murder charge, and overcome their family's painful past.
