Summary:: During the Southern Sung Dynasty it was not uncommon for apparitions to assume the human form and live amongst mortals. A self-righteous monk sets out on a mission to rid the earth of evil spirits. However, he encounters Green Snake, a beautiful ghost spirit who uses her magical powers to help the mortals with whom she lives.
