- Summary:
- Fairbanks stars an Nikiti, a Russian prince who joins the revolution during the war. When things get dangerous, he manages to escape to Constantinople with the help of his servant Tanyusha (Carroll). After making several unsuccessful passes at her, he proposes and they marry. But when the war ends, Nikiti runs into an old lover (Lilyan Tashman), who entices him back from his life of poverty into the fashionable world where he once belonged. Nikiti leaves Tanyusha and returns to Russia, only to realize that the only true love and happiness he ever had was with his former serving maid.
