More Details
- Summary:
- There are 12,000 people that live at Majuro, Marshall Islands, including Bikinians. In 1946 the United States used Bikini Atoll for testing and development of nuclear weapons. To the Bikinians, the modern world has been less kind. They have had to adopt a post-bomb, subsidised life in an island suburbia hundreds of miles from their island home. We see the special strains produced in these people between technologies and traditions.
